I'll be direct, because that's how we work here: this is the blog of M2 Estratégias Digitais. So you can probably guess which agency we think does solid work.
It would be easy to fill this page with “we're number one,” slap a trophy on our own name, and send you on your way. Except everyone writes that. And a “best agencies” list where the agency ranks itself first isn't worth the pixels it takes up. You know that. We know that.
So let's do this differently. Instead of pushing a rigged ranking, we're going to teach you how to sniff out a good paid traffic agency — ours included, if it passes your test. Because anyone who trusts their own work isn't afraid to hand you the measuring stick.
Everyone says they're the best. Now what?
Try a quick test: open Google and search “paid traffic agency” plus whatever city you're in. Scroll. You'll find dozens of sites saying the exact same thing — “real results,” “custom strategy,” “grow your sales.” Word for word, nearly identical.
When everyone says the same thing, the phrase stops meaning anything. It's like asking a restaurant if the food is good. What answer do you expect?
What separates an agency that sells results from one that delivers results isn't in the tagline. It's in the questions it can actually answer when you push. So let's push.
The tests that separate a real strategist from a button-pusher
Write down these five questions. Ask every agency you're considering — us included. Whoever stumbles, you already have your answer.
1. Does it measure what matters, or just what looks good?
An ad that “reached 1 million people” and got “5,000 likes” looks nice and pays exactly zero bills. That's vanity metrics. The real question is: how many of those turned into a lead, a quote, a sale? To know that, the agency has to actually measure — pixel properly installed, conversion events configured, and server-side tracking (the Conversions API) running so you're not losing data to ad blockers or iOS. If they don't speak that language, they're advertising in the dark.
2. Does it think in funnels, or just in clicks?
Getting people to your site is the easy part. The hard part is getting the right people there and walking them to the purchase. A good agency asks about your offer, about what happens after the click, about how you actually close a sale. A bad one only wants to know how much budget you're putting toward “boosting” posts.
3. Where are the numbers?
Ask for case studies. But don't accept “we did great work for so-and-so.” Ask for numbers: cost per lead, cost per sale, return for every dollar spent. Whoever has results, shows results. Whoever stalls, changes the subject.
4. Specialist or does-it-all?
There's the agency that does “digital marketing” — a bit of everything — and there's the one that lives on paid media. Both have their place. But if your problem is selling more through ads, you want someone who breathes Meta Ads and Google Ads every day, not someone for whom traffic is just one more item on the menu.
5. Can it prove the ad turned into actual money?
This is the final test, and the most overlooked. A lead isn't a sale. A click isn't a sale. The agency that deserves your money is the one that cares whether the ad generated business — and builds everything (tracking, reporting, the conversation with your sales team) to actually prove it. Everything else is just noise.
M2, held to the same standard
Now it's only fair we hold ourselves to our own questions.
M2 Estratégias Digitais is a fully remote agency, run by someone who came from industrial automation engineering — and that's not a résumé footnote. It's the way we think: process, measurement, adjustment. A campaign, to us, is a system, not a bet.
Our core is paid traffic management on Meta and Google Ads combined with copywriting — because a good ad with bad copy is money in the trash, and most agencies treat writing as decoration. Around that, we handle SEO, website creation, social media, AI-driven lead capture automation, and e-commerce. We hold certifications in Meta Ads and Google Ads through Subido PRO, Pedro Sobral's training program — one of the top references in paid traffic in Brazil.
We're based in Brazil and work with founders well beyond it: alongside clients across Brazil, we have active projects in the United States, Spain, and the United Kingdom. Remote work done with a real process crosses time zones just fine — whether you're reading this from New York or anywhere else.
Put us through the five questions above. We'll answer every one, straight up.
Before you sign with anyone
Hiring a traffic agency isn't like buying a star rating on Google Maps. It's choosing who handles money you're investing every month. Give it the same weight you'd give picking a business partner: ask for numbers, question the strategy, check whether they measure what actually matters, and be wary of anyone who promises the moon in the first meeting.
In the end, the best agency isn't the one with the smoothest pitch. It's the one that can stand up to being questioned.
